Carman Skeehan is a glass artist and maker, living in Adelaide, South Australia. Having completed the Jam Factory associate program in 2023, Carman has hit a milestone in her work, elevating her artistic practice.

In addition to her artistic endeavours, Skeehan is passionately dedicated to becoming a full-time professional Gaffer.
The role of a Gaffer is pivotal in the world of glassblowing, requiring exceptional skill, experience, and leadership. As the head glassblower in a glass studio, the Gaffer oversees the entire glassblowing process, making important decisions and ensuring the high quality of the final product. This position is highly respected and represents the pinnacle of glassblowing expertise and master craftsmanship.
